Focus Gallery: “Figuratively Speaking” National Juried Exhibit
Main Gallery: New December Members Show
Dates: December 1-30, 2016
Opening Reception:  Friday, December 2 , 5-8pm

Arlington, VA – During December, “Figuratively Speaking,” national juried art competition will be the featured show at Gallery Underground. All-media artists, sculptors, and photographers have created visual works interpreting a “figurative” theme in multiple ways: thorough the human form, or by exploring a broader interpretation of the theme, such as figures of speech. This exhibition has been juried by John Morrell, Chair, Art and Art History Department at Georgetown University.

In addition to a new all-media Members Show in the Main Gallery, also featured is painter Vicky Wilken, whose oils often depict scenes of her native Greece and reflections on her global travels.
