Vision of Service

The Arlington Artists Alliance and The 296 Project announce “Visions of Service,” a juried art competition exclusively for U.S. Veterans in Arlington County, Virginia and/or within 100 miles of Arlington, VA. Veterans working in all-media – 2D & 3D artists: painters, sculptors, and photographers – are invited to create visual works that portray, reflect and express their experience of their service or that of other veterans, either literally, figuratively, or metaphorically, in addition to scenes from their time in the service or unit activities. The Arlington Artists Alliance and the 296 Project seek artwork that reflects their service to the United States via portraits, landscapes, cityscapes, abstract concepts, works depicting warfare and peace building, modes of transportation, and people met along the way.  $500 in cash prizes awarded.

Entry fee: $10 for one digital entry or $15 for two 2 digital entries.
